Possible liver cancer/lymphoma?

by amimery, Nov 08, 2009 12:00AM
Had an ultrasound that showed multiple abnormal scattered lesions in the liver involving bot the right and left lobes (they are hypoechoic). the size of the largest lesions is approx 2cm in diameter. the kidneys are normal, so is the gall bladder, spleen and pancreas. I have also been feeling quite tired and bloated too. there is slight yellowing in the sides of my eyes indicative of liver malfunction. i have had abdominal pain in the upper right quadrant, although this has diminished substantially over the past days. The doctors say the lesions suggests multiple hepatic metastases (although arent sure yet, MRI will be next week). i am abit worried about this, what is the possibility that it is only a hemangioma (benign liver tumour?). also if it is cancer, is it early stage? as my symptoms are quite mild.
