Rash

by AL190, Nov 08, 2009 04:45PM
I'm sorry I wasn't clear....I was diagnosed with IDC and had a lumpectomy about three weeks ago, it was stage II.  The surgeon said he got it and was pleased with everything.  Needless to say 3 weeks later I am experiencing a swollen (partially from surgery) and the breast looks sunburned along with I've broken out into a rash which has now traveled to my stomach all over my back and now my thigh...I went for my check up this week and the nurse practioner looked at the breast and rash and said it was normal and gave me a topical cream....well that did nothing so I went to the ER....they didn't seem to think it was an infection....they drew a mark around my breast and said if the redness goes beyond the mark to call....well it hasn't but the breast is still hot and the rash seems worse.....I haven't started chemo yet....it is supposed to start in a week and a half.....and i am concerned....
