SCC skin cancer mets

Approximately 4 weeks after a red area turned up on my collar bone it was diagnosed as SCC skin cancer, further excision to be done .   Thinking it a insect bite, I rubbed at it about a week after seeing it (trying get it to come to head and heal)  and developed a grape sized lymph node (I assume is lymph node) on the same side at base of neck by shoulder.  after about 5 weeks the gland is barely felt.  Is there a chance that the cancer went to lymph gland?  who should i see to be sure.
