Scar tissue on chest x-ray

I recently was diagnosed with strep throat.  During treatment I experienced tightening in my chest and difficulty breathing.  A chest x-ray has revealed scar tissue.  I also had an ekg which was normal.  The dr. has told me not to worry probably nothing.  She is consulting the radiologist and will contact me next week.  Should I contact a pulmonary or lung specialist or should I rely on my PCP.
