Small growth on anal canal wall?

Hi there,
About a year and a half ago, I was experiencing stomach pain and was given a colonoscopy. The doctor took a biopsy, yet everything turned out clean- except hemmroids which I knew I had. Recently, about 4 months ago, I noticed that I had a litte growth on my anal canal wall. To describe it, it feels like an internal skin tag and is soft. It is quite small and painless and feels nothing like a hemmroid. I became concerned and asked two seperate family doctors what they thought. Both said they felt nothing out of the ordinary. Yet last week, I visited a physican's assistant and was told to see a GI, because she said she felt "something." I am only 21 years old and was interested if this could possibly be cancer? If not, could it be a wart? I had all 3 Gardasil shots so should I rule out genital warts? What could this be? I am scheduled to see my GI next month but in the mean time, I would like to know what it may be?
