Suspicious mole - should i get it checked?

Hello,

I have been out in Australia for a year and have noticed a large mole has appeared and grown on my stomach. It is darker in the centre and a little bit raised. I have caught the sun a fair bit while I've been out here.The reason for the concern is because my Mum has had skin cancer three times, should I be worried about this new mole? It's bigger than all my other moles which are very small.

Any advice would be appreciated, thanks :)

Wendy you have to be checked because a mole that is not of the same colour could be a sign of skin cancer.I am not trying to scare you but go check yourself.Hope you the best of luck.
