ULTRASOUND RESULT

How's the interpretation of the following results of ultrasound?
Results:
          - the liver is enlarged with heterogenous echo pattern
          - the liver span measures 17.8 cm
          - there is rounding of hepatic margin
          - there is an uncircumscribed complex mass in the right hepatic lobe
          - there is a multiple varies sized hypoechoic solid lesion in both  
             hepatic  lobes
          - the intra and extra hepatic ducts are not dilated
          - gall bladder is normal
          - the spleen is normal

Well, I don't know if these are your US results or someone else's, but the first that came to mind after reading your post was possible Liver Cancer.

Next step would be to biopsy these masses/lesions.  An enlarged liver with lesions/masses is NOT a good thing.

This macelskie again. Above queries were on process. Just would like to know what would be specific liver disease will be acquired with such findings.

Are you following up with a GI Specialist for this?    

Have you had a serum Liver Panel done?
