Vein swollen and hurts when using condom

Every time I use a condom, a vein on the right side of my penis swells up and I end up inadvertently stroking that vein and ends up hurting a lot. As soon as I take the condom off the swelling and pain stops. This is my only deterrent in using condoms. I would like to know if there is something wrong with me as I prefer to have safe sex.
Thanks in advanced.

Never really gave that idea much thought cause I really wouldn't consider myself anywhere being big...

Have you tried using a slightly larger condom, sometimes men do'nt realise that they are maybe bigger than the average man.  Your probably restricting the blood flow through using a smaller condom
