What could a bump with redness around it mean in palate?

Hey. I'm worried sick that i would have some sort of mouth cancer. I have found a little bump (2-4millimeters) which has redness around it between my soft and hard palate. The bump is completely painless and i dont have swollen lymphnodes or anything like that. Also to be noted, i am on caring asthma medication (2 times a day) if this has anything to do with this. I had oral candidiasis a couple months back and had prescription medicine for it, and it went away. I visit the dentist 3-4 times a year just to be sure my teeth dont fall out yet (:D), last time i visited was yesterday. I'm worried sick. AGE: 17
