Will a CT with contrast show a brain tumor

I recently had an incident where I was taken to the ER for one pupil being fully dialated and non responsive following a severe headache. They did a CT with contrast and said it looked fine, but I am now undergoing testing for MS. I was just wondering if a CT with contrast would show a tumor or a clot?

Hi.  Blood clots in the brain would have distinctive features compared with brain tumors on CT, and the two conditions can usually be distinguished by this procedure.  I'm guessing here, but am I correct to assume that the doctors did not find any mass or lump on CT, which is the reason why their testing for some other disease like multiple sclerosis (MS)?  If no distinct mass was found on head CT, you probably don't have a brain tumor.  However, the cause of that headache and dilated pupil still needs to be investigated further.

Well, after I got a migrane (migraine) again in the ER my pupil is now responsive. I have yet to get the results of my MRI. I do notice though that when I get tired at night my pupils are a little off when dialating. I have suffered from migranes (migraines) since my early teens I was wondering if this could just be another symptom of those? Thanks
