anaplastic oligodendroglioma radioteraphy

by oulisee, Jun 21, 2008 10:27PM
Hi all,

My wife has been diagnosed with an anaplastic oligodendroglioma. She underwent surgery on June 6 and the recovery is very slow: two weeks afterwards she is still confused, doesn't always remember familiar names and sleeps most of the time.
Can one please advise on how critical is that the radiotherapy commences immediately after surgery?
Thank you
