atypical ductal hyperplasia

atypical ductal hyperplasia

I had breast mass excision left and right last July 23, 2009. I still have one lump on the left breast and 4 on my right.

I also have follicle cysts in both left and right ovaries.

The biopsy was negative but my surgeon requested for an actin stain. The actin stain result stated atypical ductal hyperplasia.

I am just 33 years old, married but we have no child as our first baby died of TGA. I had to complete all vaccines and now this. My surgeon recommends mammography every 6 months and self examination every month. He also told me that a future biopsy is needed to determine if the cells are cancerous or not.

My ob-gyne advised me to take a mammogram asap to determine the state of lumps. She also told me that if I will have a mastectomy, my ovaries will be removed as well as my lymph fluids will drain directly to my ovaries which will cause swelling on my extremities.

Please advise. My father just died and I am also a little bit depressed. I want to have a child but don't know who to listen to.
