Hi,
Please let me know some more details of the left frontal lobe cyst. What is the exact language used in the MRI report?
Additionally, you must see your neurologist quickly.
All the best, and God Bless!

Hi,

I think you are referring to Bartholin's cyst. (Did you confuse the name with St Bartholomew's Hospital?)

Bartholin's gland are normally found near the vaginal opening, and blockage of their duct may lead to cyst formation. If this cyst becomes infected, then one treatment option is "marsupialization". This strange-sounding surgical procedure (which involves the removal of a wedge of the cyst wall and stitching up the rest of the wall to prevent recurrence) is so named because the resulting opened-out cyst resembles the pouch of a kangaroo!

Bartholin's cyst is not known to cause cancer. Please relax.
