blood = 550 should be 400

I was told my blood results were 550 which was slightly high, however not as concerned as when they 1st started testing large growth (now 40cms x 30 cms) doctor very nice and told will def need op. (Obvious feel about to give birth) growth appears to be attached to ovaries. Lung, kidney, liver etc looks okay. Explained can't garauntee anything but conveyed that op should sort all. Denser mass is showing in growth - area of concern but optimistic. Considering massive fears gong through mind when growth (and rapid increase in size established) I do feel more confident, however i do not realy understand this blood count bit. Dr says if cancer exists eary stage 1. Yep frightening to hear those words but realise could have been so much worse. Trying hard to take each stage at a time. Attending UCH in london possibly within a week or so to finalise views re op etc. Any explaination or advice greatfully recd. thank you
