How long does a person with bone cancer in stage 4  live with some treatment

It is according to where the cancer has spread.  My sister had stage IV rectal cancer.  She did chemo and radiation but the cancer did not go away.  She was diagnosed in March 2007 and passed away in May 2009.  Hers had spread to her lung, liver and bones.  It really depends on the person and how well they can withstand agressive treatment.  MD Anderson in Houston is always conducting clinical trials for new medications so anyone can do a self referral on the internet.  Go to mdanderson.org.Good luck and God Bless.!!
