i just had mammogram showed suspicious birads4a dr doesnt recoment biopsy for 6 months then do another mammogram what your opinion?

Go see another doctor. If something is suspicious it needs to be investigated - Now.
I had Breast cancer and I don't see how you could wait 6 months, worrying constantly.
I'd get a second opinion.

... the decision to wait is entirely yours.
Having faced this same situation twice, myself... with suspicious abnormalities appearing in past mammograms... I was given the choice to either wait the 6 months or have an immediate biopsy. Both times, I opted for the biopsy as it is the only conclusive means to determine the nature of the suspicious growth(s). But, that's just me.

So, if you don't mind the 6 month wait, which is a pretty standard and common approach, then go that way. But, if your'e uncomfortable with the wait, which I think is kinda long, I would suggest that you speak with your doctor, express your concerns and ask to have a biopsy.

The birads is the grading system for the xrays so to speak.  If there is anything suspicious in the breast at all a biopsy should be done, waiting 6 months if it's cancer can mean the difference between a lumpectomy and masectomy.
