could a bone mass and suspicious growth on labrum in hip be cancerous?

I have recently been told that I have a questionable bone mass on my left hip along with something questionable on the labrum. I have been seeing a hemotologist for blood count issues and have had chronic back and hip pain for 6 months. I am scheduled to see a muskeuloskelatal tumor oncologist soon, but wonder if this is cancerous? I did have an MRI of my left hip and was told that due to the results I needed to seek further treatment from a specialist. Thank you for your advice.
