Hi there,
Why are you planning for a hysterectomy? The common indications of hysterectomy are fibroids, endometriosis, cancer in the uterus, cervix or ovaries. Every surgery has its own risk like excessive haemorrhage, anaethesia problems, bowel/bladder injury etc. Few women may also experience hot flashes after hysterectomy while some may not. Before taking the decision for it you should discuss the pros and cons with your doctor. You may also want to talk this over carefully with your family or others who are close to you before making a decision. Do write to us again.
Take care and regards!
