i need an answer!!!

my name is gavin harrison, for the past 8 days i have been unable to eat any food, due to the fact that i have a "blocking" in my throat, everytime i have tried to swallow any food i have chewed it has gotten caught in my throat resulting in my choking. liquids and soups are the only things i dont have a hard time swallowing, i have been to my doctor who sent me for x-rays, but i have to wait at least a week until the results of my x-rays return. My docotr also sent me to see a nose,ear and throat specialist at a clinic. the specialist along with my doctor were unable to diagnos my symptoms. i have no knowledge of what is in my throat or if it is cancerous...i need help. please tell me what is in my throat.

I once had a similar problem. It was diagnosed as a Zenker's diverticulum, which is a weakness on one side of the esophogus that forms a little pocket. I had to cut up my food in very small bites. Mine was like that for a couple of years until I got a "sign" that I should do something about it. I ate raisin bran one morning. The next morning as I woke up, I coughed and felt something in my mouth. It was a grape. One of the raisins that I ate the day before had re-hydrated back into a grape. The ENT physician did an exam through my nose. The X-rays along with the liquid that I drank showed the little pocket I described. I had an operation by an ENT plastic surgeon. The scar on my throat turned out very well, not very noticeable. I stayed in the hospital for four days so I could be fed with IVs.
