is this swollen lymph node normal?

by jobean10207, Oct 28, 2009 11:58AM
so basically let me start at the begining. in july i had a horrible tooth infection, finally after 2 weeks the tooth quit hurting. i then realized i had swollen lymph nodes. ok, i had one on the back of my head in the occipital region, 1 on my jaw line, and under my jaw on the left side. then i got a canker sore which caused another one in my jaw.  all went away, except the one under my left jaw. i now have been sick for almost a month with a cold/bronchittis/strep throat all at the same time. this has caused swllen lymph nodes in my neck. numerous ones at that. all of them are movable and feel soft, except the one under my jaw. i am not sure if it is just the location it is in, but a friend of mine said she had one under her jaw that also felt hard. in the mornings when i wake up it feels huge and harder, then asthe day progresses, it feels smaller again, and doesn't feel quite as hard but i definately cannot move it around at all. it feels like it is a little smaller than it was because i can't feel it as bad as i could. but i am not sure if this is normal or not. should it feel hard? and should it still be swollen? could it be that ive had so many infections that it is just permanantly there? i mean the tooth quit hurting, but i havnt gotten it fixed, i also have a tooth on the other side that is broken and a wisdom tooth that s trying to come in, but it is turned sideways so i think it is impacted. you can see some of the tooth but that is besides the point. i am very concerned that i have lymphoma and it is all i can think about. i have been to the doctor twice in 4 weeks for being sick. neither one of them mentioned anything about my lymph node being swollen so i didn't think about it at the time. but my regular doctor felt my neck not sure if it was right where the lymph node was though. also i dont think its grown you can't see it at all it isn't protruding out of my neck and i have no symptoms such as night sweats, weight loss, fatigue, loss of appetite. if itwas lymphoma ould i be showing symptoms by now, and wouldnt it have grown some? i am in desperate need of help. please someone help me

hi,

I will suggest you to go for proper medication as, this is really required as, swelling in the lymph nodes is not a healthy sign and you should dont take this thing forgranted as, before some other problem appears, this is a time for yoou to consult a right doctor and also properly examine your body.

Thanks!!
