lesion here, lesion there...

New here... I don't know where else to turn. Though I trust my Doctor's, I am the one relaying information to the other and I feel I am in charge of managing all of it.
I am a 46 y/o female smoker. Paternal side women all died of cancer before 50... spread so fast origin was unknown. Mother also had breast cancer a year after I was born.
I crashed my motorcycle In the middle of May and got a stage III AC separtation. But, the pain in my upper arm was the worst, and finally my Doctor found a lesion which thus far is being called enchondroma. I have a bone scan later this week.
Meanwhile, in the ER, that doctor saw some "spot on lung"  which he felt needed looked at, so I go to my GP for that. I just got the results of that CT scan and there are 2 calcified granulomas and one 6mm "noncalcified which may represent an interpulmonary lymph node, lung nodule cannot be excluded."
In addition, 3 small low density lesions were found on my liver, which are too small to characterize.
My doctor recommends a follow up on the lung/liver in 6 months.
With lesions found in 3 different areas, and my family history, should I just wait the six months?
I remember the days when you went to one doctor who treated everything! Life was simple, wasn't it?!
