I made the mistke of looking at my chart during my mri...it did state "metastases" and that it needed to be ruled out. I just saw that word and panicked...! Is it normal to rule out cancer when they suspect fat deposits? My doctor does not seem concerned.

Hi,
The symptoms and signs are not suggestive of cancer.Consult an Orthopaedic surgeon too if symptoms persist.A bony deformity or mild crack fracture can result in your symptoms.
Goodluck
