lipoma

there was a soft tissue lump on my shoulder ,the mri reports said that it was liposarcoma,an operation was conducted to remove that lump in april 2009.later on the biopsy report said that it was a lipoma.its been 6 months after the surgery i still feel pain on my shoulder.actually the skin where there were stitchse is swollen and it pains.is it some kind of reaction to stitches?or its somethingelse which is really serious
