myeloma

Hello.

I just visited my doctor due to chest pains, sleeplessness and constant heart palpitations. My EKG and Blood Pressure were normal, so he took blood to check my thyroid.

My thyroid hormone levels were normal, but my calcium and protein levels were elevated.

So, naturally I ran to the computer to see what this could mean. The only thing I can find where calcium and protein will both go up is Myeloma. This scares me a lot.

Is it possible that those levels are up due to something temporary or inconsequential?

Obviously, my doctor is testing the blood further to get to the bottom of this, but 5 days are going to feel like forever. I'm posting here to ease my mind a bit.

Thank You.
