Is it true that inflamation in rectum lasts for months even if they are treated with antibiotics. How long after polips are removed from the colon you can still feel slight pain in your side.Ever since colonoscopy burping, gas and bloating have increased.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,
How are you? Aside from the pain in your back that radiates to your leg, what other symptoms are present? The pain could be due to musculoskeletal or nerve issues such as sciatica. Sciatica is caused by injury to or pressure on the sciatic nerve and may present with pain, weakness, numbness, or tingling in the leg. It is best that you check with your doctor for proper evaluation and to also monitor the inflammation found in your rectum. Take care and do keep us posted.
