pancraetic head mass measruring 18*12 mm

hi everybody,
my mother 62 f., she had abdomen pain 2 n 1/2 months back., usg, mrcp, eus findings being pancreatic head mass measuring 18*12 mm. CA 19.9 was 7.9, amylase 271, sugar 200+.
she again had mrcp done 2 days back, it showed head mass to be there but of same size i.e., 18*12 mm. her sugar is 71(f) 91(random) with little medication, amylase 43, LFT absolutely normal. apatite is fine. weight 64kg. appearancewise fine.
i need an advice whether we shall go in for fnac as suggested, as its results r not conclusive.
what does the same size of the mass over 2 n 1/2 months span suggests?
how would ercp is helpful?
please reply

There's an article about it here -

Conclusion - "In summary, there are two major indications for pancreatic FNA, the need for documentation of malignancy prior to chemotherapy and the evaluation of an atypical pancreatic mass lesion. There are two common methods for the obtaining a tissue diagnosis, CT/US-guided FNA and EUS-guided FNA. In patients with a large unresectable pancreatic mass, either technique may be used to obtain diagnostic tissue. Small, intra-pancreatic masses often have a wide differential diagnosis and should be evaluated with EUS and FNA."
