protruding vein on left side of head

As I am a 5 year non-hodkins lymphoms survivor which came from out of no where.  I don't want to be such a hypocondriac over things but for the last month or so I have had a vein that protrudes on the left side of my head.  Some days I feel it more than others but lately it has been throbbing a lot.  I don't want to be scared that it could be something really serious.  Is there anything you can tell me that it could be.  Also, I also suffer from panic attacks and am on medication for that.

Hi.
Are you having headaches because of this?
What are your other symptoms?
You may be experiencing vascular headache which is characterized as intermittent and throbbing.
To give you peace of mind that what you are experiencing is nothing serious, it would be best to consult your physician.
It would also help if you try to relax as stress and tension can aggravate headaches..
Good luck.
