Can removal of the spleen due to purpura lead to metastatic renal carcinoma 40 years later?

It seems unlikely that the two conditions are connected.   The only connect may be that the autoimmune problem in the spleen, led to a weakened system.  Cancer occurs more frequently with some autoimmune conditions.  You should ask your doctor.
