small lump in groin area???? is it dangerous or cancerous?
small tender ball the size of a pea under skin in groin area, sort of where the leg bends. it doesn't hurt and it can be moved. had one 6 months ago it went down, now i'm getting a cold and its back up, it's size may vary and can shrink very small. is this dangerous or cancerous?
Well, without a clinical evaluation it would be difficult to determine the cause of the lump. Possibilities that may need to be considered include hernia, lymphnodes, infections, inflammations, cysts, lipoma etc. With your description this does not typically sound cancerous. I would suggest getting this evaluated by a primary care physician initially and depending on the cause diagnosed or suspected, it can be managed accordingly or specialist care maybe sought.
Hope this is helpful.
