what happened

I had a partial right nephrectomy due to Clear Cell Renal Cell Carcinoma.  It's a year later and I am cancer free, But I still have an enormous  amount of pain. My Dr. didn't tell me he would have to remove part of my rib. I can't sit long enough to type this.  And to boot my ct shows I have a hernia in my lovely ever fasionable bulging scar that i'll Have to have fixed sooner or later. I also have pain in my kidney, not flank pain. For goodness sake did someone invent that term that never went through this surgery.  ITs deep pain just like after surgery, I will even admit it mat be phantom limb pain but it hurts so bad I can't work I am about to loose my job because the pain and exhaustion are casusing me to miss constantly.  Will it ever stop or have I been hacked. Doctors do not give information needed . Had I known I would have this much pain but be cancer free I would have chosen the cancer, at least at some point the pain would stop.
