what is a better option for ca ovary recurrence ,lipodox IV or oral chemo?
was diagnoised with ca ovary stage 3a (mixed epithelial tumour- endometroid and clearcell type) in 2010. Surgery followed by 6 cycles of chemo( carboplatin and paclitaxel. Relapse in Feb2016 with only liver lesions.6 cycles of chemo with the same medicine completd in june end. CA 125 normal but pet scan showed 2 small lesions persists. On close followup.In oct2016 CA125 again raised and petscan shows new lesions and increased activity on existing lesions. Doctor has advised 6 cycles of chemo with lipodox. A second opinion has advised oral chemo for now. what is the better option
