Cardiavascular syphilis

This is a hypothetical question. Ive heard its very hard to diagnose some of the symptoms of cardiovascular syphilis like an aortic aneurysm,  aortic dilation,  stenosis, or aortic valve  insuffiency. I would like to know if a stethoscope examination or ekg could diagnose any of the conditions?

Hello
It is true that isolated aortic dilation or aneurysmal dilation would be unable to be identified by auscultation. However aortic stenosis or insufficiency can be identified by way of characteristic murmur findings. Ekg would be of limited use
