Possible heart disease

Son went through chemo ABVD/ABV and MOPP age 24 now
four years remission
had echocardiogram
results:  trivial aortic regurgitation, trace mitral regurgitation,  mild tricuspid and endocardits prophylaxis discretionary in 2006
developed heart murmur 2009
has severe GI tract problems
blood in phlegm sometimes
recently vomitted dried blood
one doctor said high ammonio in blood other said no
what could cause this

Hello
Im sorry to hear that your son has had a difficult time. I would be happy to try and put together a story of what is going on with him. It sounds very complex. Can you describe the primary tumor treated with chemo. Also why do you think that this is related to his heart? You also mentioned that a doctor told you that his ammonia was elevated in the blood. Has anyone suggested that he has liver problems. Finally what has the gastroenterologist and cardiologist said about the process. Answering these questions will help me respond to you. thank you
