bradycardia and mitral regurgitation

Would bradycardia be a help or a hindrance with regards to mitral regurgitation?

bradycardia between 40-50 bpm awake but resting, lower when sleeping.  MR of unknown severity....assume mild

Hello
Thats a broad question. Within a normal variant, it would probably have little effect unless there was hemodynamically significant MR with profound bradycardia

Thank you. I was just curious if the bradycardia would mean a higher volume in the chambers which might increase the amount of regurgitation.
