Hello Bjlangston,

Welcome to the Caregivers Forum. I am glad that you found us and thank you for taking the time to post.

You are aware that there are no physicians on this forum. The suggestions and opinions you will obtain are not from experts.

There are a number of reasons that you hands can have a bluish/green tint. In my opinion the most obvious would be poor circulation. The medical term for bluish hands is Cyanosis. It is described as a bluish color to the skin. When any part fails to receive adequate blood supply (oxygen) it will become discolored normally in blue hues but occasionally it could appear greenish also.  Any form of cyanosis, circulation symptom or circulatory disorder needs prompt medical investigation..

Your symptoms could be something fairly simple such as Raynaud's phenomenon or Raynaud's Disease or obviously it could be more complicated. I would first consult with my PCP (primary care physician). He/she will best know which speciality will be best at diagnosing your symptoms. Rheumatologists, Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Physicians are most likely to be among the choices. Your PCP will look at the whole picture and ask relevant question to determine which one is best.

I wish you the best of luck and hope that you will keep us updated. I will look forward to hearing from you again.

Take Care,
Tuck
