is it carpel tunnel

ok, since having my son almost 9 years ago, every now and then i would get a shooting pain through my left wrist down into my hand when i would hold something heavy or would pick up my son.. not all the time but occasionally. i never thought anything of it. then i fell pregnant again last year and half way through the pregnancy my left wrist would ache and have some pins and needles in the hand? i have since givin birth to my daughter 4 months ago, and my left wrist still aches and gets pins and needles occasionally. its not a pain where it would hurt but its a constant ache and sometimes travels from my fingers through the wrist up to my elbow... does this sound like carpel tunnel?

I would suggest you to check your medial nerve and also go for nerve conduction test to diagnose any carpal tunnel problem.

I would also suggest you to clinically test for Tinel's sign and Phalen's sign to diagnose Carpal tunnel syndrome.
