Revolution for Cats

This is actually a serious post, although i find it ironic that a product has been named after the #1 pasttime of these little marxist agitators. :-)

I just tried Revolution, the "new" flea & antiparisitic drops for cats and it works better (so far) than any other product out there, including frontline.

It had immediate results, and it's day three and we're seeing NO fleas. This is on 8 cats who were starting to have a serious infestation.

If it works as well as they boast, then I'm sold.

We also got it for a good price, buying it from Australia (taking advantage of the exchange rate. American dineros are worth more than Aussie money).

It claims to also deal with worms, ear mites, and has an area of affect.

So let's here it for Kitties of the Revolution!!!

I find the cats react much less violently then they did with the front line.

I'm hoping I can find a bulk discount on this stuff. ;->

See her neck?  Hahaha...see, that's the problem.  It's near impossible to see her skin.  She has fur like a rabbit.  Even our vet said this.  I think that might be why she doesn't have all that many fleas or at least doesn't appear to.  It's too much work for them to make their way to her skin :)

I will still try it, PK, and hope for the best! :)

hahahaha Some cats really hate treatment. Mine are so used to me handling them with medication etc that they just gave up a long time ago. They let me do whatever the heck I want hahahaha. Just try not to freak if you see Jade's neck all red and itchy, and please let me know if you see this, ok? And, my best advice is to tell the vet, but they won't give you anything for it because it is normal in some cats. But it is good for the vet to know as much as possible about their patients, right? And, hopefully, Jade will not experience allergic reaction to Revolution. I do recommend it.

Just a note of thanks for bringing up this product.  It sounds great and I'm going to try it!  Jade sure hates it when we put that stuff on her.  Takes two of us.  Her fur is so dense, one of us parts it with a flea comb while holding her and the other puts the product on.  It's a big ordeal!

It still works and I have been doing it 4 months now. Still works beautifully. And yes, you do not need a vet. I do get it at the vet's because it is cheaper. One thing I can tell you is, Abby did not have any side effects, but Dillan did. The second month I applied this product on Dillan's neck he started experiencing redness, itchiness and hair loss, but not severe hair loss...just minor and I would assume it was due to him scratching a lot. I talked to my vet about it and she said it was normal. Some cats do experience this with Revolution. The third month nothing happened. SO I continue using it with beautiful results. Other that this little drawback I had with Dillan and his skin redness (And mind you, Abby was fine all along so it does depend on the cat) this product IS GOOD!

So just in case you notice something weird with any of your kitties.......

the great thing is you can get it without a vet now. I'm very impressed,as frontline was good, but didn't work as well. It also is more cost effective.

Did you find it still worked after a month if you applied it a bit late?

Savas,

Revolution instead of Frontline is what I use. Both my cats are treated once a month with it to prevent fleas. It is the best product I have ever used on my cats. I'm happy with it. Glad my vet talked me into doing it after finding fleas on Abby!
