hey hon you sure didn't post on the wrong site, we are so glad to have you with us!! and I sure hope you come back often to chat, update or learn....we love to try and help and give support if nothing else, I just sent you the other links so you could read up on whats been posted. I hope you can get some answers from Dr. Osborne...just may take awhile she's a busy lady.
I don't blame you for wanting a new Vet, at the very least they should be up on new treatments or be willing to do some research. With alot of support, your kitty shouldn't be given a death sentence....not without a fight. You can do some more reading on a site that I really like b/c it gives some good info....thats a start.

bless you both hon..♥Opus
Thank you so much for your help! I will repost my concerns on the correct forum! Sorry for accidentally posting in the wrong forum :(
Both of those links are loads of help, thank you!
When my vet told me Epakitin, I said isn't the calcium part a problem? And he really didn't have an answer...looks like he just wanted to make some money off of me. To be honest, I really don't trust my vet at this point. At first my vet didn't even tell me medications/herbal treatments were available. He told me my cat had 3-4 months to live! I had to research when I got home and then present my information to him the next day.
I'm so sorry to read you lost your kitty to CRF, my heart goes out to you. <3
there is another member on here from France that does tons of research into CRF, she has posted on this topic indepth....I'm not necessarily agreeing with all she has posted but perhaps if you read thru all the material you may find something that is helpful....again I wish you the best of luck.

I am so sorry we can't answer your medication questions on this forum, we are only pet owners ourselves and not Vets.
I do recommend you post your question on the Holistic forum and Dr. Osborne can perhaps help you.
