7 week old kitten with brain trauma

Long story short, as of 12/20/16 my kitten Arrow had a 3ds fall on him when he was playing with the chord. He tilted his head instantly to the left and seemed like he was in a state of shock. He began gurgling, so I grabbed a syringe and filled it with water and slowly let it go in. He began to swallow and closed his eyes as if he didn't know what the world meant any longer. I took him to the emergency vet that was located 30 minutes away, and per their own selfish quota, they wouldn't even put a catheter in him until I signed paperwork saying I'd pay them. The doctor came out looking  like he just left prom in dance shoes and a suit on. He kept trying to push me to just euthanize him, since he had a low prognosis. He said he could only see it going one way over and over again. They left him alone for about 30 minutes while I tried to move money around to pay the 300$ they wanted to see him. They told us to be back at 7. It was 1:30 in the morning, and told us we'd have to remove him or be charged more. We went to pick him up and they had only given him a pain med and some numbing agents. They never got a catheter in him and I left pretty upset. I got him to a vet at 8:30 when they opened and instantly this amazing God send of a vet came up to us and got us back. He said he could see that he did in fact have brain trauma, but could not tell us which way he thought it'd go, until after he tried. He told his nurse to get her best co worker, and they got a catheter, and blood glucose sample from him within a minute, and took him out back to go be put in an oxygen box. They flat lined how much they would charge us for meds, the oxygen and holding him for 2 days. Totaling only in 153$ They told us we'd have to grab him before 5, since they didn't have an overnight clinic, and we went on our way. When my husband went to pick him up, for the first time since the incident, he had his eyes open, the vet said after the first 24 hours, the only thing that could happen, was for him to heal. He's made good improvements and I know this is going to be a long road. We feed him from a syringe and puree food with water in our blender. My only initial question is I can't keep his head supported, because he wants to exert energy and just rolls around, even though his neck is still tilted to the side. How can I give him the proper support he needs, and when I take him to the bathroom. Currently we have to hold him over the toilet, since he can't walk, let alone use his litterbox. But he squirms and cries really hard. So is there anyway to make these two things a little easier for him?
