9 month male pees on anything soft?

my little minion is 9months (ish) now got him for my 18th as well as lolly. the male minion was fine for the first couple months used the littler tray but the past couple he has been in a pee frenzy on couches, beds, cushions, clothes but its really hacked me off this time because it was in my clothes draw. he will be able to go out soon hes just a bit too small atm and ive had to go rescue him from gardens many times. he hasnt been neutered YET, but seems to be depressed but im not sure its because he doesn't like peeing where he shouldn't because he knows what hes doing, or if its because he wants to go out... any suggestions?

yes it most definitely has to do with a female being in close vicinity......I am surprised he isn't spraying yet too, but he soon will!!

yeah i know but do you think hes getting worse because of the fact theres also a female. its like the was some smell and he rubbed his smell against it then lolly came and done the same then he came back and just peed on it. as soon as i can afford it and im actually suprized that he hasnt started spraying yet

this is happening due to the fact that he is still an intact MALE...get him neutered as soon as possible or this will become a life time ritual. unaltered males 'mark' their territory.

You will also need to clean everything he has peed on....wash with a product that contains an enzyme to neutralize this odor from his sensitive nose or he will continue to think this is an 'acceptable' spot to pee on.
You can get these products from a good pet store. brands such as -Urine Erase or Natures miracle or Anti Icky Poo are just a few.

good luck....he is just doing what comes naturally to him so don't punish him for this, but please get him neutered asap
