Cat Problems
I have a 12 yr old female callico cat that has been fixed. I noticed that her anus and surounding area is red and swollen. She also has a swollen stomach and feels warm to the touch. I have noticed that in the last few weeks she has had trouble with food and fur balls. There also seems to be a foul odor from the swollen area.
Sounds like either she has impacted anal glands or intestinal parasites. Definitely needs a trip to the vet.
