Cat ate oil paint

Painting house and didn't realize a cat would eat paint.  Saw paint on whiskers and chin and figured he was just sniffing it until he threw up a substantial amount of paint.  He seems fine but I'm worried.  Is there anything we should do?

Well that's a new one. I think your best bet is to call either the number on the can or just call the general number for posion control.

Chances are if you take it to a vet, it's what he'd do anyway. But the biggest concerns are long term effects from additives (which there are antidotes for some if given quickly). This is assuming the cat survives the immediate effects.
