Cat has just been castrated worried help!

My cat is 11 month old I had him castrated yesterday! He came home and he was being weird guessing this is because of the anaesthetic. He's still weird today!! Not as sleepy but still sleeping a lot ! He's not being his usual self being picky on when I touch him and he was attached to my hip before always following me and just generally loving me so much! He never went outside before he got "snipped". Only escaped a few times! But he's already eager to go outside still! What's worrying me is that he seems to be breathing VERY fast when he sleeps and he has never done this before and gets twitches in his face :(!

I agree with opus88's comments. Also even though your kitty wants to go outside doesn't mean you have to let him outside. There are all kinds of dangers outside for a cat. Also as your cat only had the procedure done yesterday, I would keep him inside for observation. As Opus88 suggested, if you have concerns about your cat, for example, the very fast breathing.

You really need to discuss your concerns with the Vet clinic....there is no charge to call even after hours and take to a Vet esp about the breathing, that is a genuine concern
