Cat shakes in his sleep

I have noticed sometimes when my cat is sleeping he will start to shake ALOT .... is he having a sezuire ? Maybe he is dreaming not sure ? Any ideas ?

It's not uncommon, it's just something cats do occassionally when in deep REM sleep.

this is shaking , his whole body shakes like we would if we were cold , its odd and It does not happen all of the time

My cats when they are "out" as i say..are in a deep sleep and twitch alot..is it an actual shaking or could it be twitching?

I've always thought mine was dreaming.  I have two who will snore horribly, one of which twitches a lot in his sleep.  He's even growled a couple of times and was dead asleep at the time.  So I believe they dream and sometimes have not so wonderful dreams...
