Chemo - kitty litter
I am curious as to what kitty litter has in it that I can't change it while doing chemotherapy?  Also, what does happen to me if I have changed as I did not remember it from the chemo class?

Heya;

I think the recommendation is for all folks with compromised immune systems or women who are pregnant.

It is not so much the kitty litter itself, which is composed of different, absorbent clays (most usually) with additional chemicals such as fragrances, odor neutralizers and the like.

The possible problem some with the possible presence of a parasite called Toxoplasma gondii.  It is a itty-bitty creature, which is pretty prevalent in cats.

In a normally healthy person, it will cause, perhaps, some tiredness or minor aches...

Here's the CDC site, which will tell you much more than my off-the-top-of-my-head memory will:
