My 5 year old male cat has been vomiting for over 6 months. He is on the same food brand (purina One) since he was a kitten, He has been to the vet (VCA since my regular vet retired). They did a battery of blood tests which I was told were all normal, stomach xray also revealed nothing, but was sent home with a $900.00 vet fee and no answer as to what is causing this. It is dark brown liquid most times, occassionally there is food particles in it. Nothing in the home has changed, same cat litter and food diet as I mentioned, he gets a mixture of dry food and half of a small can of wet food everyday. There is no "gobbling" down or rushed eating, he is very slow moving when it comes to that but over night I can hear him vomiting (always at night). My carpets are ruined and I am planning on moving soon and would like to know what can be causing this so I can fix it. He is indoor his whole life, can there be a food allergy or need for grass?
