Snickers loves his SS Minnow door hanger thingy......loves the colorful fish that hang down......he likes twist ties and the rings from the milk too which always ends up in the water bowl. He likes hair ties and my bras!!!
Hmm, cats favorite toys.... ME! Ppl see my arms and neck and think I have been malled!!!! After me it is the toys I have made them out of yarn, OR...and they love this....the rings from the milk gallons. I put them on the kitchen floor and they bat at them until they end up under the oven or the refridg.
My kitten, Estrella, likes to hijack my freeze pops. She takes the whole thing and drags it to her kitty carrier and licks the frost off of the outside. She also loves to hide her toys on a low shelf of my nightstand. She then sits in the back and waits for someone to pass by. Of course she loves the standard bugs and flies to play with. She has hidden most of her toys under our sofa. She only brings out the ones she wants to play with and returns them when she is through. I guess to prevent theft! :)

Favorite toys - My cats LOVE peacock feathers! Just wiggling it will get even my oldest cat going and my youngest will jump 5 feet in the air for it. Great exercise! You can get a pack of 12 cheap at Amazon.com.
My furball is kind of lazy. I try to buy toys I think will interest her, but she either loses them under the furniture right away, so I can't find them to toss back out to her or she totally ignores them. She doesn't really care for store bought mice, but she loves it when I crochet mice and rats for her to play with. I think she likes the extra long tails that I make for them. She likes a homemade crocheted curly rope I made for us to play together with. In fact, she likes anything that I'm on one end of and she's on the other end of.
If I bring personal items home and place the reusable bag on my bed while I go off to take care of everything else I bring home, Akira claims the bag as her own and will sleep on it whether it has anything left in it or not. Often, she gets really snoopy and takes the things out of the bag. Then, she totally takes over the bag and takes a nap on it. If I try to move her or the bag, kind of like Abby, Akira won't budge and will yell at me, too. Must be a cat thing.;-)
Hoss and Little Joe (brothers of course) have the same hang up with anything that is on the coffee table. One will be up on it and the other on the floor and who ever is on the table will start batting stuff off like the tv remote or maybe the mail or a pen. I can't leave anything glass on the table. Had a nice little candy dish and figured not a good idea. Anything we lay on the table. I keep tellng my boyfriend to stop leaving his cap of of his water bottles and setting it on the table because they just love knocking them over and onto the floor so the other can push it around. Boo Bear has his furry mice which he is partial to. Max is very particularly about even just playing. He's much older than my other guys so if he sees one of the other cats playing with something and he gets a burst of energy he usually will just come along, paws it a little bit and then puts it in his mouth and walks away with it..LOL. Oreo loves this back scratcher I have right now. I just had shoulder surgery and this thing is a blessing to me because the medication makes me itchy and I can't stretch my arm but whenever I go to use it he is right there ready to attack the darn thing. I tried scratching his back with it but he just wanted to bite it. Cats are so entertaining with whatever they decide to be curious with or play with.
Oh, my cats love the laser. But generally, they get entertained with pretty much anything :) shadows, reflections, hair, and sometimes they stare at something (nothing at all) and start playing with that something (nothing) and even bite their own tails hahahaha....crazy cats..
My cats love anything that is not a standard cat toy! LOL!!!!
Abby loves to claim plastic bags. When I come home from the store and place a bag on my bed (with my personal items) she will go and lay on it and hold onto the handle claiming it as hers. If I try to move her she will NOT budge and will yell at me.
I have some strong, thick rope type thing that cannot be broken and the cats all love to play with that and will carry it around the house and even bring it to me in bed in the middle of the night for play time!
They also love bottle caps (you have to make sure they are large ones so they can't accidentally choke on them). Daisy used to carry a bottle cap around in her mouth and would hide them so the other cats couldn't take them.
Of course, if we have something new that comes in a box, they all have to take turns sleeping in the empty box!
Daisy used to chase shadows. I think that was her favorite toy.
Katie keeps going into our garbage in the bathroom and taking "used" Q-tips out and playing with them - ICK! We've had to become creative in throwing them out. We now have a plastic baggie that we put them in and then we put them under the sink until it's time to take the trash out. We had to buy a plastic container to put the unused Q-tips in or she will get them out of the box and play with them. UGH!!!
One thing that is standard is they like those toy mice and will carry them around and bat them around. I get the larger ones. I'm always worried they will choke. I won't let them play with yarn, string or anything that they can swallow accidentally.
Heather - LOL about the bra and undies! Mine do take my knee highs and once they get hold of them, they become useless to me! LOL!!!
anything that is NOT hers. she lays in her kitty rocker and her kitty house but she loves playing with the boys toys or with mine and gregs stuff (she loves undies and bras.....let me tell you how embarassing it is to have your cat walk around with your vicis secret bra when your father and brothers are visiting....) she loves paper, aluminum foil balls....she does have these squishy balls she plays fetch with.
