Feline Upper Respiratory Infection

I was at a gathering with some friend this evening and long story short, one lost a lifelong pet and adopted another with a URI. As the feline coughs, she leaves behind some pellets apparently from coughing so hard and if it continues she may return the animal to the shelter. Is there something homeopathic to try? Its just so hard for pets to be adopted out at shelters I just want to suggest something.

I sure hope you're friend reconsiders...its hard enough for a healthy animal to find a home let alone one that has developed a health problem....
has she not tried to help this poor animal? No vet exam?...
I really have a hard time with this I don't understand why she wouldn't try to help?
All you're friend needs to do is medicate this poor little guy..he needs antibiotics has she not given him that?
I don't know of anything homeopathic...even we humans need antibiotics for infections, pls urge you're friend to seek out a vet!! and not return this little one in need of help.
