that is strange....why would that happen???

Deepest sympathies on the loss of your beloved and long-time companion. I lost my Rikki at New Year (he was only 10), so I can sympathise with your feellings right now. 24 is a wonderful age for any Cat. I feel so cheated that I lost Rikki aged only ten. I too had to make 'that' decision. You just KNOW whats the right thing to do, your heart guides you - it seems to reach out to your Cats heart and you just know what they want. Once again, I'm very sorry for you loss. Take care. DiamondFox.
lindsay78 and demiurge appear to be the same person. If you scroll up some, you'll see her kitty died :(
oh i am so sorry honey, its so darn hard to lose a good and long time friend! you did all you could she knows she was loved and now she's gone to a good place where she won;t suffer, you did the right and most unselfish thing you could do for her.....bless her little heart.
i wound up putting her to sleep she was 24 1/2 . her crf progressed and i guess it was the mouth ulcers they talk about. i was so sad driving home. but she was ready. i didn't want her to die on her own from renal failure.
Please take her to another vet. How old is she? Does she have any other health condition, besides her age, that would prevent her from getting that tooth removed? In my opinion you should take that poor thing to another vet. See what they think of this whole situation. Sounds like you are desperate to find a solution to your cat's problem. I am so sorry you both are going through this. I will keep you in my thoughts and wish for a happy ending.
Take good care of her.
hi....poor kitty I sympathize with her problems.....I would definitely suspect a tooth problem. you said the Vet won't consider surgery, not even a tooth extraction??????
HOW OLD IS MARLEY??
