HELP!!!

I recently took my new kitten to the vet to get a check-up.  I found out she has a cold and ear mites.  The vet gave me drops for her ears and other medicine.  My other cat likes to lick the kitten alot and I think she has licked the medicine out of the kittens ears.  She wont eat or drink anything, she's vomiting white foamy stuff. I think she has been poisoned! I took her to the vet and all they did was give her a shot of nausa medicine.  She's getting worse and breathing funny. It sounds like a gurggling sound like something is in her throat, and her mouth hangs open. What can I do to help soothe her stomache and make her better.  She is 8 years old and i'm not sure she can handle being sick like this.  PLEASE HELP!!

It sounds like your 8 yr old got the upper respiratory infection from your kitten.  I don't think it's a poisoning, otherwise your vet would've done more than just give an antinausea medicine.

Your 8 yr old needs antibiotics, too.  Apparently, she is affected worse than the kitten is.  It sounds like she's having a lot of  trouble breathing, too.  You need to rush your cat to the vet, this is NOT her stomach.

What medication was your kitten given for those ear mites? Have you tried calling the vet again? They need to know your cat isn't improving. You could also try an emergency vet. I doubt that a vet clinic is open this late.
What a tragedy. I am so sorry. I hope your kitty feels better tomorrow. Please let us know how she is doing.
